THE VISUAL STORY

Beneath the lake’s surface, ancient sculptures symbolize once-guiding beliefs. truths that now reveal themselves as lies, we must abandon. Drifting through this underwater realm, we see ghosts of our past, perhaps a friend or family member who betrayed us, gradually cracking under time’s relentless erosion, until they finally burst apart in a triumphant disintegration.

SONG "I AIN'T WORRIED ABOUT IT "

  • SEAMLESS TRANSITION FROM THE WORLD OF "SAME BOAT" INTO "I AIN'T WORRIED ABOUT IT "

SET UP: WE DESCEND DEEPER INTO LAKE LANIER, WHERE WE FIND RELICS OF SCULPTURES, SYMBOLS, INFLUENCES, LESSONS, AND ROLE MODELS ZAC HAD FROM HIS YOUNGER LIFE, SETTING UP THE STORY ARCH AND EVENTUALLY OUR TRANSFORMATION, LETTING GO OF OLD IDEAS. 

  • (SETUP)  LONG SHAFTS OF LIGHT PASS THE CAMERA. AS WE DESCEND INTO THE LAKE, WE TAKE A TURN AS WE TRACK BACKWARD AROUND A LARGE CLIFF AND SEE RUINS ON THE BED OF THE LAKE

  • (CLIMAX) WE SEE A GIGANTIC ANGELES WING PROTRUDING FROM THE ROCK, AND THEN WE SEE A ROCK SCULPTURE OF AN ANGEL WITH HORNS KISSING A WOMAN FALLING INTO HIS ARMS

  • (RESOLUTION) TRACKING BACKWARDS, WE WIND PAST HEADSTONES, GRAVEYARDS, AND OLD BUILDINGS FROM THE SUNKEN CITY BURIED BENEATH THE LAKE. THROUGH THE DENSE ATMOSPHERE, WE SEE A LARGE, LOOMING SNAKE HEAD EMERGE  

CLIMAX: THE HALLS OF INFLUENCE (LETTING GO OF THE PAST)

  • (SETUP) WE PASS A MASSIVE SCULPTURE OF A PREGNANT MOTHERLY WOMAN; A SCHOOL OF FISH FLOODS THE SCENE AND BLOCKS OUT THE LIGHT, TRANSITIONING INTO THE NEXT ACT

  • (CLIMAX) THE ENTIRE SPHERE BECOMES A WAVY SURFACE SEEN FROM BELOW, GLINTING WITH HOPE. THE CAMERA SLOWLY ROTATES, TRAVELING PAST MASSIVE MASCULINE FORMS 

  • (RESOLUTION) THE FIGURES STAND TALL, FORMING A HALL WE TRAVEL DOWN. THESE MASCULINE FIGURES REPRESENT HIS ROLE MODELS, TOWERING OVER HIM WITH EXPECTATION; THEIR SILHOUETTES FORM WHAT LOOKS LIKE THE SPINE OF A SKELETON, BRINGING US INTO THE FINAL ACT.

RESOLUTION: THE REBIRTH (ZAC’S TRANSFORMATION)

  • (SETUP) WE SEE A GIGANTIC SKELETON SITTING AT THE END OF THE HALL, BATHED IN GODRAYS. AS WE PASS IT AND MOVE UPWARDS, IT BEGINS TO BREAK APART 

  • (CLIMAX) WE TRAVEL AROUND THE DISINTEGRATING SKELETAL BODY  

  • (RESOLUTION) WE BREAK ABOVE THE SURFACE TO FIND THE SKULL OF THE SKELETAL FORM DISINTEGRATING INTO SEAGULLS

  • SEAMLESS TRANSITION FROM THE WORLD OF "I AIN'T WORRIED ABOUT IT" INTO "TBD"
